Inspired by the familiar “If This, Then That” (IFTTT) logic, this new feature allows users to define their own energy control strategies with simple, intuitive rules. Whether it’s based on time, electricity price, or solar generation, you now have full control to tailor energy behavior to fit your daily life.

What Is IFTTT?

IFTTT lets you set custom energy rules based on conditions you choose. For example:

If the time is 1:00 p.m.

And the electricity price is below 10 cents per kilowatt-hour

Then turn on your smart relay to start drying laundry

You can set rules based on:

  • Time of day
  • Electricity prices (including dynamic tariffs)
  • Solar production or surplus

This gives you real-time, personalized control over your home energy use.

Set your own relay rules directly in the enjoyelec app

Step 1: Go to Rules and select “Add Rule” at the bottom of the page.

Step 2: Add “IF” conditions to control the relay based on time or electricity price.

Step 3: In the Action section, you can define how the system should respond when the conditions are met — either by enabling a specific charging or discharging strategy for the battery, or by setting a relay to turn ON or OFF.

In the example shown, a relay is selected and configured to switch ON or OFF to automate appliance control.

Step 4: Set the effective time by choosing the active period and repeat days.

Once saved, your relay will follow the rule automatically—no manual control needed.
